Scott Wilson Group plc, has announced another consecutive year of strong revenue, profit and margin growth, which looks set to continue with an increased order book. The Group has doubled in size over the past few years and from its Basingstoke headquarters and currently controls a worldwide network of 80 offices.

Revenue for 2008 was up 24.2% on last year with a 29.9% rise in operating profit to £19.1m.

We continue to execute a successful growth strategy which in the last twelve months has led to a significant improvement in our international business, delivered several more acquisitions and improved our internal infrastructure by reducing the size of our senior executive team.

Despite concerns for the global economy, the demand for improved infrastructure around the globe is being driven by population growth and increased urbanisation. The new financial year has started well and we remain confident in our ability to deliver another year of strong progress and superior returns for our shareholders.
